Brought up within the agricultural community, my accounting career commenced in a medium-sized Chartered Accountants practice in Plymouth. My career path migrated into internal audit which gave me unique and invaluable exposure to commercial and industrial markets within large blue-chip corporate environments. The past 20 years has been spent honing my skills and attributes within both the SME marketplace and large corporate bodies. Significant experience has been gained working within the food industry, trauma-hit businesses, and situations requiring delicate investigative work e.g. fraud, acquisitions, or mergers. This experience embraces production, manufacture, wholesale, distribution, retail, export, and agency environments.
